Krishna’s Love for Butter
Little Krishna grew up in Gokul, a small village filled with love, laughter, and cows. Like most children, he loved tasty treats—but his favorite was fresh butter. He often sneaked into the houses of villagers, taking butter from clay pots. Sometimes he even shared it with monkeys and friends.
The village women adored Krishna but would also complain to Yashoda about his endless butter-stealing. Smiling, Yashoda would scold her child, but her heart was always full of love.
Krishna Eats Mud
One day, young Krishna was playing outside with his friends. Mischief was never far from him, and soon he put a handful of mud into his mouth. His friends saw this and quickly ran to Yashoda, shouting, “Mother Yashoda! Krishna is eating dirt!”
Worried, Yashoda rushed to her son and demanded, “Krishna, open your mouth at once!”
At first, Krishna shook his head and denied it. But Yashoda was firm. She wanted to check herself, so she insisted. Finally, Krishna opened his tiny mouth.
The Divine Vision
