Kesi transformed into a monstrous steed whose very presence shook the foundations of creation. His massive form galloped at the speed of thought itself, his flowing mane scattered celestial vehicles and clouds across the heavens, while his thunderous hooves carved deep trenches into the earth. The demon horse’s piercing neighs terrorized not only the peaceful residents of Vrindavan but sent tremors of fear even through the celestial realms, causing the gods themselves to consider abandoning their heavenly abodes.
As Kesi entered the sacred groves of Vrindavan, his tail whirled high above like an ominous storm cloud, and his intimidating presence challenged the young Krishna to face him in combat. The earth trembled beneath his weight as he stamped and neighed, creating chaos throughout the pastoral paradise.
The Epic Confrontation
Krishna, displaying the fearless composure that marked his divine nature, calmly stepped forward to accept the demon’s challenge. The young cowherd showed no trace of fear as Kesi began his assault, charging toward him with the fury of a roaring lion. The demon horse’s legs, hard as stone and mighty as mountains, struck out with devastating force as he attempted to trample the divine child.
With supernatural agility and strength, Krishna seized Kesi’s front legs in his grasp, completely baffling the charging demon. Moving with divine grace and power, Krishna swung the massive horse around his head like a discus before hurling him through the air with tremendous force. The demon crashed to the ground a hundred yards away, much like the mighty Garuda would fling a giant serpent, temporarily losing consciousness from the impact.
The Final Battle and Victory
Recovering from his stunning defeat, Kesi rose with even greater rage and fury, his eyes blazing with demonic wrath. This time, the horse demon charged with his enormous mouth gaping wide, intending to devour Krishna entirely. As the demon lunged forward with snapping jaws, Krishna fearlessly thrust his left arm directly into Kesi’s throat.
The moment Krishna’s arm entered the demon’s mouth, divine power began to manifest. Kesi’s razor-sharp teeth, which could have crushed mountains, immediately fell out as Krishna’s arm felt like a burning iron rod within his throat. The Lord’s hand began to expand and inflate within the demon’s mouth, completely blocking his airways and causing excruciating pain.
As Kesi struggled desperately for breath, perspiration poured from his massive body while he thrashed his legs wildly in his death throes. His eyes bulged from their sockets as the life force began to leave his demonic form. Within moments, the mighty Kesi choked to death, his body releasing waste as his vital breath expired.
When the demon horse finally lay lifeless, his jaw relaxed, allowing Krishna to withdraw his unharmed hand with ease. The young Lord showed no surprise at this victory, but the assembled demigods marveled at the incredible feat, showering flowers from heaven in appreciation of Krishna’s divine triumph.
Divine Recognition and Celebration
The great sage Narada appeared and praised Krishna for easily slaying the horse demon whose mere neighing had terrorized the entire cosmos. In his panegyric, Narada prophesied the great deeds that awaited Krishna in the future, including his destined confrontation with Kamsa himself.
The residents of Vrindavan, who had fled in terror at Kesi’s arrival, now emerged from their hiding places with hearts full of joy and gratitude. Once again, their beloved Krishna had protected them from certain destruction, demonstrating that no force of evil could prevail against divine righteousness.
This victory over Kesi became another testament to Krishna’s role as the protector of dharma and the destroyer of evil forces that threatened the innocent. The peaceful groves of Vrindavan were restored to their former tranquility, with birds returning to their trees and the earth ceasing its trembling.
