INTRODUCTION

Bihar is a state in eastern India known for its ancient monuments and tourist attractions. Apart from being a Buddhist circuit, there are many things worth knowing in Bihar.

There are a total of 11 rivers in Bihar, which include Ganga, Koshi, Ghaghra, Gandak, etc.  Bihar is famous for tourists due to its historical monuments. Bihar is the state where there are ancient universities like Nalanda and Vikramshila. Where Vishwamitra’s ashram was where the initial education of Ram and Lakshman was completed. Nalanda University located in Bihar is the oldest university in the world.
