Police Commissioner Educational Qualification
It is mandatory for the candidates applying for the post of Police Commissioner to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute, the same candidates will be able to apply for this examination.
Police Commissioner Age Determination (For IAS Exam)

Police Commissioner Selection Process
The examination for the post of Police Commissioner is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), this examination is divided into three parts, which are as follows-

3. Interview
1.Pre Exam
There are two papers of 200-200 marks in this exam, both the papers are of 2-2 hours. The first is of General Studies and all the questions are of objective type. To pass this paper, it is necessary to get at least 33% marks. The second paper is of Civil Services Aptitude Test, it also has objective-type questions. This exam is conducted in the month of June.
2.Mains Exam
If you clear the preliminary exam then you will get an opportunity to appear in the main exam. In the main examination, you have to give a total of 9 papers, out of which three hours are allotted for each paper, the sum of the marks of all these 9 papers is 1750 marks. The main exam is conducted in the month of October.
3. Interview
After cracking the UPSC Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam, you will be called for an interview. The more difficult these civil service examinations are, the more difficult the interview is considered for it. Interview A little mistake can ruin your hard work, the interview is of 275 marks. Therefore, keep patience in the interview, and answer the question after understanding it properly.
Police Commissioner Salary
After the seventh pay commission, the pay scale of the police commissioner is Rs 37,400 – 67,000 and the grade pay is up to Rs 10000 per month.
